Meet Dr. Mensah

Dr. Mensah received both her bachelors of arts and dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Following dental school, she completed a general practice residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan. Dr. Mensah obtained her specialty training in pediatric dentistry from St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York where she served as chief resident.

Education is one of her passions, and Dr. Mensah is currently on faculty at St. Barnabas Hospital Health System in the Bronx, where she enjoys teaching and training future pediatric dentists. She is a board certified pediatric dentist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Mensah is a New York native and she has been working in private practice in New York for nearly a decade. What she enjoys most about pediatric dentistry is getting children and parents to understand why their dental health and consequently, overall health is so important. Most of all, she loves getting her patients excited about coming back to the dentist! In a calm and comforting manner, she strives to make each child’s visit to the dentist a fun and pleasant one.

When she’s not fighting cavities, she enjoys traveling, tennis, and being a full time mother of two young, energetic children.
