Meet Dr. Jefferies

Dr. Jefferies was born in Belgium, but spent most of her life in Alabama.  She earned her B.S. degree in Biochemistry and French minor from Rhodes College (Memphis, TN). She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the highly ranked University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry.  After working as a general dentist for a few years, she returned to school and completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at UAB.  There, she earned her specialty certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in a combination hospital-based and school-based program.  During her tenure there, she was appointed chief resident.  After residency, she also achieved her board certification through the ABPD.

Over the years, Dr. Jefferies has worked with many different types of patients in various states, including GA, AL, CT, and NY.  As the sibling of a person with special needs and a board-certified pediatric dentist, she has a special place in her heart for her patients.  She loves helping children (and their parents) become less fearful of the dentist while helping them to have beautiful, healthy smiles.  When Dr. Jefferies isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, trying new recipes, and eating food from around the world.
